above a shield enamelled in blue and white with the cross of St. Andrew, reverse; blank, silver hallmarks for Birmingham, 1939, maker's mark "D.M.G.", the medal is suspended by a tartan ribbon from a bar inscribed FOUNDER on a blue enamelled band, (this lodge was granted its charter in 1938), 36mm x 44mm, 30.19g, silver gilt, VF.
